Today it was back to the Mall to visit the Air and Space Museum and the Natural History Museum. This wasn't our best day, as Nel and Katie had no interest in being in the Air and Space Museum and let us know it, but after some whining their behavior improved and we had a nice visit. It is always hard for the kids in museums as Rob likes to read everything and they like to touch things, there wasn't a lot to touch but there certainly was a lot to read! Chet enjoyed the museum especially the space exhibits. After a hot dog on the mall we walked over to the Natural History Museum. This one interested all the kids. We let them each pick what exhibit they wanted to see, Chet choose the Hope diamond, Katie the dinosaurs and Nel the hall of mammals. One of the biggest hits was the exhibit with all the animal skeletons.
