Last night was the Daddy Daughter Dance at the recreation center. The girls look forward to this event every year, it is a real treat to get to be out with Daddy on a date. Katie had a great time dancing and making new friends, Nel was a little cranky but got really excited when they dropped the balloons towards the end of the evening. I always look forward to this night too as it gives me some time to do something special with Chet. This year we rented Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and had popcorn. Chet has been reading all the Harry Potter books and as he finishes I let him see the movie. We are a little behind as he is almost done with the third book.
