Today Rob, Khim and myself went to Katie and Nel's classroom to share about Loy Krathong. I cooked Thai Fried Rice for snack, Khim dressed up in a traditional Thai dress, and we talked a little about Thailand and the holiday then all the children made their own Krathongs. This is much like what we did last year in Chet's class but this time we cut out paper leaves instead of folding them origami style. The kids were great, I was blown away by how many really liked the snack and they all did a great job on their krathongs.
