Gymnastics

We had such a busy weekend last week, what with Chet's Birthday and Reflections award that I almost forgot to post about what the girls did. They had a gymnastics recital. Nel learned her first routine for floor and balance beam. She also got her first "team" leotard. She was so excited and did an awesome job. Katie just moved up to Level 1 the week before the recital and did not have time to learn a routine, so she participated with her old class in showing off all her skills. Both are doing great in class. Nel finally mastered the cartwheel and was the first in her class to master a new trick on the bars, cast backward roll. Katie is getting very close to mastering her cartwheel.
