The girls just finished their roller skating unit in PE, so when they came home with free passes to the roller rink I thought it would be fun to take all the kids skating. The kids all did great, Khim had never been skating! Nel was whizzing around the rink as soon as we got there, Katie had a lot of falls but never let that get her down and Chet entered the race and came in second (there were only 3 kids). The best part was watching the girls interact with their friends from school. There were three little girls from their class and they held hands and skated around, while a boy from their class would go by showing off his best dance moves.
